Tyler Day Four

It was a very uneventful day in Moscow accept for we had Tyler with us. It was a holiday here (Men’s Day) and there was a parade this morning and fireworks this evening. We did not go anywhere all day although I think the temps got above 10 degrees. A real warming trend tomorrow as we will probably get into the low 20s.

Aunt Lauren stopped by with supplies that should get us home next week. While it is true that you can get most everything here in Moscow, it is knowing where to find it that makes it a challenge. The local chain drug store called 36.6 carries a little of everything . . . kind of like a really small CVS/Rite-Aide/Eckerd. Lauren walked to the 36.6 that is about ½ to ¾ of a mile for baby food, wipes and a couple of bottles with Jeff last night. Of course it was zero degrees outside with a nice breeze blowing. The 36.6 had two jars of food, glass bottles and no small travel size wipes. Lauren knew where to stop today and offered to stock us. Many thanks!

A couple of more photos of Tyler playing in the apartment.

Tyler was fascinated by bubbles. He just watched them float down and tried to catch them or touch them. A picture of him looking up at bubbles.

He was also thrilled with a small blue balloon and was walking around in this picture with it in his mouth. Shortly thereafter, the balloon disappeared.

And of course Jeff teaching Tyler how to work the remote control and watch sports.

We are counting the days on one hand!

You know, I'm thinking Tyler needs some American flag pants like daddy.

My thoughts exactly, Ann Marie!

(btw, 36.6 seems to be related to Boots pharmacy in the UK. They carry the same brands.)
