Tyler – Day Three

A short note today. Tyler got his Visa today after a brief visit tot the US Embassy with all of the other kids being adopted. We ran into Laura and Rich with their daughter and Renee and Andy with their son as well as a dozen other families. It was a relatively painless process as we signed couple of papers and waited 30 minutes and got Tyler’s Visa and away we went.

Tyler was a bit of a bear this morning. He woke up and was not the playful little boy that went to bed. He gave himself a nap from 10:30- 11:45 when he just laid on the comforter we have on the floor and fell asleep. He took another nap from 1:00 – 2:00 in the car on the way to and sitting at the embassy. After we got home around 3:30, we was all smiles and laughs except when bath time ended. He just played and played.

Tomorrow is a holiday in Russia. It started similar to veteran’s day, but now is more like a men’s day. We are doing nothing the next four days except passing time. Our agency will take care of registering us with the consulate next week.

Another couple of photos.

Tyler during his first nap . . . did not quite make it to his stomach.

More to come over the weekend!

Oh man, I missed a lot. He is adorable. I cant wait to see him in person. I wish Olive was a good in the bath. It sounds like a torture chamber when she goes in. But hopefully soon, she will adjust.
