Waiting Day 7

The good news is that we are more than half way through the 10 day wait, which is actually 13 days. The bad news is now is when it slows down a little. We had a great visit yesterday with Tyler and we are going back on Saturday, so the next three days are pretty quiet.

Good news in the adoption world . . . two more court appearances were completed today . . . see Lauren and Marco and Scott and Lisa under forever families.

How about a picture of a toy and Tyler’s snow suit. He seems to love unstacking these little things and as long as we keep restacking, he is unstacking. Also, the temps here are a balmy 35 degrees today, however, the long range forecast courtesy of Weather.com is for some more cold air to arrive early next week. The day we pick Tyler up it may be a high of only 14 degrees. So, we will be layering him with a Turtle neck onesie, a sweatshirt and pants, with socks and shoes and than his snow suit. All fashionably in blue. We will also take a blanket to wrap him in outside. The grandmother's need not worry . . . he is not going to freeze to death.

We are now looking to find another adoption family staying at the Marriott Courtyard or Grand next week. We would love to meet them and let our kids play together. They have some nice play rooms in the hotels and of course we would also like to give them the opportunity to visit us in our apartment and not have to go out for lunch and dinner every night. Our friends Renee and Andy, who are picking up their son on Tuesday, also have an apartment and we can all get together occasionally.

That is it for today from Moscow

Dear Aunt Maria and Uncle Jeff,
How much snow is on the ground in Moscow? There is a lot of snow here and ice too. Schools have been closed for 2 days and that rocks! Ryan likes when Tyler was beating on the box. You mentioned drums but I think a hammer is more like it. Uncle Jeff probably has a lot that he can use. Maybe we can make a band and Tyler can play the drums. Can't wait to see you.

Hi Jeff,Maria and Tyler,

We really enjoyed the video. It seems that Tyler likes to bank on things.
As for dressing him in warm clothes!!! Dr. Joseph's always said dress the kids the way you feel and since I am always cold I guess Tyler should dress warmly--that makes sense!!!!! Right Jeff
The clothes are just right. What kind of shoes do you have.
