Tyler - Day Seven

Well, this journey is starting to come to a close. After 23 days in Moscow, we are heading home! However, as this journey ends, a new one begins with Tyler in the United States of America. We got our Russian Consulate registration done today and were able to change our tickets and come home one day early. Today we packed while Tyler napped (11:15pm last night for anyone wondering) and Maria even napped while packing (see picture below).

We are heading to the airport early and have a 12:25pm Moscow time flight on Delta into JFK with a connection to BWI that arrives at 7:00pm EST. We will be transit from our apartment in Moscow to our home in Baltimore for approximately 20 hours. We will post again once we are home and catch up on sleep and get situated.

We are so excited to be able to pass the torch to Lauren and Marco who pick up Cupcake tomorrow. They will get their paperwork done and come home where Cupcake and Tyler will meet for some pictures.

Hopefully, reaccredidation will take place soon so the torch never stops being passed and as one forever family leaves Russia, another picks up their son or daughter and becomes a forever family.
