THE CALL!!!!

Well, at long last we got "The Call"!! We had taken the day off with little expectations but at just a little after noon, our agency contacted us to let us know we were invited by the Ministry of Education to travel to Moscow to meet our child(ren). What that means is that we do not know at this point if it is a boy or a girl, one or two, or anything about age, but we are approved to adopt. We may find out some more info before we leave, but probably not. We will be traveling next weekend (December 9th) in order to be there for our meeting on Monday December 11th. We return home on Saturday December 16th. Needless to say, we could not be happier!

We are working on booking flights and hotels and figuring out some of the details. Thanks for all those who have been sending us their best wishes and praying for us. We feel like this has put us over the last big hurdle. We still need to travel and complete paperwork and everything else that goes with the adoption process, but we are now in the system and approved for adoption.

We may update the blog again as we prepare to leave, but if not, look for the next update from Moscow! You know we cannot post pictures of the child(ren) but we will write as much as we can and at least post some pictures of the city and stuff.
